(1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, make rules consistent with this Act for the guidance of officers in all matters connected with its enforcement. (2) All rules made under this section shall be laid before the Legislative Assembly for not less than fourteen days, as soon as possible after they are made, and shall be subject to such modifications, whether by way of repeal or amendment, as the Legislative Assembly may make during the session in which they are so laid, or the session immediately following.
