A inendineni of section 29.—I ii (I) of section 29 of the prin cipal Act, for the words 'except on a complaint by r with the previous sanction in writing of, the Commissioner', the words "except on a )mplaint made by an Inspector with the previous sanction in vn ti na of the Corn issioner" shall be substituted. 8 /I!?lendlnent (?/.S'&C!iOhl 31 --Ii ion 31 of the pri id pa I Act,- (a) for the words "the date on whiel the offence is alleged to have been committed", the words "the (late on which the offence came to the notice Of the Inspector" shall be substituted; (b) the following proviso shall be rted at the end, narhely:- "Provided that no court shall take eo4nizance of an offene punishable by or under this Act afler the cxpiry of three years from the date on which the offence is alleged to have been committed.".
