Recovery of dues of a financial institution under Revenue Recovery Act.— On an application made by a financial institution for the recovery of arrears of any sum due to it by an agriculturist towards the financial assistance given to him under this Act, the District Collector or an officer authorised by him may grant a certificate for the recovery of the said sum as per the provisions of the Revenue Recovery Act, for the time being in force, as if it were an arrear of public revenue due on land.
