(1) Every khadi worker shall contribute to the fund every year in the manner provided in the scheme eight per cent of the total wages received by him in a year in accordance with the terms of the Cost Chart. (2) Every Khadi institution shall contribute to the Fund every year an amount equal to the amount contributed by the Khadi workers employed through that institution. (3) Government shall contribute to the Fund an amount equal to the amount contributed by the khadi worker under sub-section (1). (4) The contribution shall be paid to the Chief Executive Officer or other officers authorised by him in this behalf in the manner provided in the scheme. (5) Where the amount of contribution payable under this Act involves a fraction of a rupee, the scheme may, provide for the rounding of such fraction to the nearest rupee.
