Notwithstanding anything contained in section 14, 15 and 16, the Registrar, the Controller of Examinations and the Finance Officer shall be appointed by the Chancellor for a period of two years from the commencement of this Act on a salary to be fixed by him and on such other conditions as he thinks fit: Provided that the power under this section shall not be exercised by the Chancellor after nomination of the syndicate under section 95.
