(1) There shall be a Dean of each faculty, who shall be nominated by the Chancellor in consultation with the Vice-Chancellor, by rotation, from among the heads of University departments or professors or from among persons of outstanding expertise. (2) The Dean of each faculty shall be responsible for the due observance of the Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations and bye-laws relating to that faculty. (3) The Dean of faculty shall hold office for a term of two years from the date of nomination and shall be eligible for renomination.
