(1) The Kanam Tenancy Act, 1955 (XXIV of 1955) and the Kanam Tenancy Abolition Ordinance, 1975 (21 of 1975), are hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Kanam Tenancy Abolition Ordinance, 1975 (21 of 1975), by sub-section (1), anything done or any action taken under that Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act.
