Where any land is leased by the Corporation, the lessee shall pay to the Corporation before such dates as may be prescribed, an amount equal to the land revenue, rent, cesses, rates and other taxes, if any, payable in respect of such land, which would have been payable by the Corporation, had the land not been leased.
