Section 47

Hackney carriage stands.-

(1) The registering authority shall appoint a sufficient number of public stands for hackney carriages. (2) Every public stand so appointed shall have a board placed in a conspicuous place on the same, containing a notice in English and in any other local language standing that the stand is a public stand under this Act, and specifying the number of carriages that may be stationed in it.
