Section 45

Penalty for defacing or destroying plate, badge, or table of fares.-

(1) Every person who wilfully tears, destroys, defaces, obliterates or removes any plate, list of fares, table of distances, or driver's badge, kept under the provisions of this Act, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty rupees. (2) Any portion of the fine may be awarded to the person to whom such plate, list of fares, table of distance, or driver's badge belongs.
