Section 19

Return of plate on expiry of licence.-

(1) On the expiration or other determination of the period of registration, the owner of every hackney carriage shall cause the plate, if any, of such hackney carriage to be delivered to the registering authority. (2) Any person who, after the expiration of the period aforesaid, wilfully omits for fourteen days to deliver the plate, if any, to the said authority, shall be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty rupees.
