(1) The custodian or an officer not below the rank of Divisional Forest Officer authorised by him in this behalf may evict any person in occupation of any ecologically fragile land vested in the Government after giving such person thirty days notice thereof. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, the custodian or the officer authorised by him in this behalf may use such force as he deems necessary to evict any person who refuses to vacate the land in accordance with the notice issued under sub-section (1).
