Demarcation of boundaries.—(1) Within such time as may be prescribed, after the coming into force of this Act or the notification under sub-section (1) of section 4, as the case may be, the custodian shall cause to demarcate the boundaries of ecologically fragile lands vested in the Government under section 3 or section 4. (2) Notwithstanding the pendency of an application under section 10 before the Tribunal, the custodian may, if he is satisfied that any land is vested in the Government under section 3 or section 4, demarcate or cause to demarcate the boundaries thereof.
