Section 9

Sale of timber in certain cases

The Divisional Forest Officer may sell any timber, the ownership of which has been vested in the Government under Section 45 of the Kerala Forest Act, 1961, and also any other timber in respect of which a claim has been established by any person but has failed to pay the amounts due to the Government on account of salvage, removal and safeguarding of such timber.
