For sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Kerala Fishermen's Welfare Fund Act, 1985 (30 of 1985) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:- "(1) A member nominated under clause (f) of sub-section (3) of section 7 shall, from the date of his nomination, hold office during the pleasure of the Government: Provided that the terms of office of a member so nominated shall not in any case exceed five years".
