(i) The Board may appoint a person to be its Secretary with the previous approval of the Government. (ii) The Secretary shall, with the approval of the Chairman, issue notice to convene meetings of the Board, shall keep the record of minutes of the meeting and shall take necessary steps for carrying out the decisions of the Board.
