Power to make bye-laws.—(1) A society may, with the approval of the Director, make bye-laws not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder, for carrying out any of the purposes for which it is constituted. (2) The Director may cancel or amend any bye-law made by a society: Provided that the society shall be given an opportunity to express its views before 15 any bye-law is cancelled or amended.
