Section 21

Investment of funds

Investment of funds.— A society may invest or deposit its funds— (a) in Government Savings Bank; or (b) in any of the securities specified in section 20 of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882 (Central Act 2 of 1882); or (c) in any bank approved for the purpose by the Director; or (d) in any other prescribed manner.
