In the Kerala Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1959 (10 of 1960), in SCHEDULE II, for clause (c) of sub-item (C) of item (iii) of Article 3, the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-- (c) where such income exceeds two lakh rupees,-- (i) in the case of Appeal by the Government of India. 2 per cent of the relief sought for subject to a maximum of rupees twenty thousand. (ii) in all other cases 5 per cent of the relief sought for subject to a maximum of rupees two lakhs."
