In the Kerala Chitties Act, 1975 (23 of 1975) after section 21, the following section shall be inserted, namely:-- "21A. Levy of Service Charges.-- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, any class or classes of foreman, as may be notified by the Government, in the Gazette shall be liable to pay service charges on the foreman commission and other charges realised by them, at such rate and in such manner as may be prescribed.".
