(1) Whoever, knowing or having reason to believe that an order for the detention of any person has been made under Section 3, harbours or conceals such person, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than three months or more than one year, and shall also be liable to fine which may extend to one thousand rupees. Explanation.-- For the purpose of this section, the word 'harbour' includes supplying a person with shelter, food, drink, money, clothes, arms, ammunitions or means of conveyance, or assisting a person by any means, whether of the same kind as those enumerated in this sub-section or not, to evade apprehension. (2) The provisions of sub-section (1) shall not extend to the case in which the harbour or concealment is done by a legal spouse of the person to be apprehended.
