Power to order inquiry.- (1) The Government may, at any time, appoint any officer not below the rank of a Joint Secretary to Government to inquire into the functioning of the Board and to submit report to the Government. (2) The Board shall provide all facilities for the proper conduct of the inquiry to the officer appointed under sub-section (1), and furnish to him such documents, accounts and information in the possession of the Board, as he may require.
