Appointment of officers and staff.- (1) The Government may appoint Joint Development Commissioner of the department of Panchayat, Town or Rural Development or an officer of the similiar post as the Chief Executive Officer, District Welfare Fund Officers and such number of other officers and staff as it may deem necessary, in such manner, as may be prescribed to assist the Board to exercise its powers and perform its functions under this Act. (2) Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1), the method of appointment, salary and allowances, discipline and other service conditions of officers and staff appointed under the said sub-section shall be in such manner, as may be determined by the Government.
