(1) Where a premises has been divided on partition among the co-owners or successors in interest, outstanding dues for the energy supplied to such premises before partition, if any, shall be realised in terms of such partition or in terms of the agreement arrived at by the successors in interest after such partition. (2) A new connection to any portion of such divided premises shall be given only after the outstanding dues in respect of the undivided premises is duly paid by any one or more of its co-owners or successors in interest and in such cases, the service connection shall be given on out of turn priority.
