(1) The provisions of the Central Electricity Authority (Measures Relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2010, as amended from time to time, shall be complied with in every respect by the licensee and by the consumer. (2) Electrical installation using electricity at HT or EHT level shall be connected to the system of the licensee only after the Electrical Inspector certifies that such installation is in accordance with the provisions of the Central Electricity Authority (Measures Relating to Safety and Electric Supply) Regulations, 2010, as amended from time to time, and it is fit for energisation: (3) In the case of electrical installation using electricity at LT level, the licensee may give the connection after inspection and ensuring that the installation is safe for energisation. (4) Alternatively the licensee may, at its discretion, give the connection on the basis of the test cum completion report of installation of consumer, in the format specified in Annexure-1 from a licensed electrical contractor.
