Connection or reconnection to a pump set shall be given only if the pump set conforms to the requirement of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, and has the following requirements:-- (i) friction-less foot valve; (ii) high density poly ethylene (HDPE) or better piping for suction and delivery; (iii) ISI marked energy efficient mono block pump set; (iv) capacitor of adequate rating for the motor.
