Term of Office of members of the Board.- (1) The non-official members appointed under sub-section (3) of section 9 shall hold office for a period of three years from the date of publication of the notification constituting the Board in the Gazette. (2) Any non-official member may resign his membership by giving notice in writing to the Government, but shall continue to hold office until his resignation is accepted by the Government. (3) The Government may at any time, for reasons to be recorded in writing, remove from office any official member, if the Government arc of opinion that, in public interest it is improper to allow such member to continue in office.
