(1) The Kerala Hackney Carriages Act, 1963 (18 of 1963) and the Kerala Additional Tax on Entertainments and Surcharge on Show Tax Act, 1963 (22 of 1963) are hereby repealed: Provided that the repeal shall not affect- (a) the previous operation of any law so repealed or anything duly done or suffered thereunder; or (b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or incurred under any law so repealed; or (c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against any law so repealed. (2) Subject to the provisions contained in sections 37 and 38, the Kerala State Rural Development Board Act, 1971 (15 of 1971) is hereby repealed.
