Constitution of Tribunals.—(1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, constitute for such area as may be specified therein a Tribunal for the purpose of performing the functions of a Tribunal under this Act. (2) A Tribunal shall consist of a sole member who shall be an officer not below the rank of Tahsildar appointed by the Government. 6 . Appointment of appellate authorities.—(1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint for such area as may be specified therein an appellate authority for the purpose of this Act. (2) An appellate authority shall be an officer not below the rank of Revenue Divisional Officer.
