Power of Government to make rules.— (1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, make rules to carry out generally the purposes of this Act. (2) All notifications and rules made under this section shall, as soon as possible, after they are made, be placed on the table of the Legislative Assembly for one month, and shall be subject to such modification whether by way of repeal or amendment as the Legislative Assembly may make during the session in which they are so laid or the session immediately following.
