(1) The Government may, by a notification the Gazette, constitute a Board to be called the "Kerala Co-operative Employee Pension Board" for the administration of the Pension Fund. (2) The Board shall consist of the following members, namely: (a) The Secretary (Co-operation) or an officer nominated by him Ex Officio; (b) The Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Ex Officio; 2A[(c) Thirteen members nominated by the Government of whom five shall be representatives of the employees, seven shall be representatives of the Co-operative institutions and one shall be the representative of the pensioners as follows:-- (i) Two representatives of the employees of the Kerala State Co-operative Bank (ii) Two representatives of the management of the Kerala State Co-operative Bank. (iii) Three representatives of employees of Primary Co-operative Societies. (iv) Five representatives of management of Primary Co-operative Societies. (v) One representative among the Co-operative pensioners.] (3) One of the members of the Board shall be appointed by the Government to be its Chairman. (4) The Board shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall, by the said time, sue and be sued. (5) The Board shall administer the Pension Fund vested in it in the manner specified in this Scheme. Substituted by S. R. O. No. 380/2023 published in K.G.Ext. Prior to the Substitution it read as "(c) Thirteen numbers nominated by the Government of whom Six shall be representatives of the employees and Seven shall be representatives of the Co-operative institutions as follows: (i) Three representatives of the employees of the Kerala Bank. (ii) Two representatives of the management of the Kerala Bank. (iii) Three representatives of employees of Primary Co-operative Societies. (iv) Five representatives of management of Primary Co-operative Societies."
