A society may invest or deposit its funds-- (a) in Government Savings Bank; or (b) in any of the securities specified in S.20 of the Indian Trust Act, 1882 (Central Act 2 of 1882); or (c) in the shares or securities of any other society approved for the purpose by the Registrar by general or special order; or (d) in any bank approved for the purpose by the Registrar; or (e) in any other prescribed manner.
