(1) The Authority shall maintain true and proper accounts and other relevant records and prepare an annual statement of accounts including the balance sheet in such form as may be prescribed by rules. (2) The accounts of the Authority shall be subject to audit annually by such auditor as the Government may prescribe and the accounts as certified by such auditor together with the audit report thereof shall be forwarded annually to the Government. (3) The Government shall cause the accounts as certified by such auditor together with the audit report thereof received by it under sub-section (2) to be laid, as soon as may be after it is received, before the Legislative Assembly.
