Obligation of land holders in irrigation projects other than community irrigation projects, Every land holder in an irrigation project, other than community irrigation project, shall be responsible- (i) to maintain the irrigation system under the irrigation project in good repair and to pay the proportionate expenses for the constitution, maintenance, repair and up keep of the irrigation system as determined by the Association; (ii) to use water for irrigation economically and without wastage; (iii) to take such precautionary and preventive measures as may be necessary so as not to cause damage to the adjacent land holdings.
