The provisions of this Act save those contained in Section 3, Section 4, Section 8, Section 9, and Section 15 shall, so far as may be, apply to chitties started before the commencement of this Act in the Malabar district referred to in sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (Central Act 37 of 1956).
