Penalty for giving intoxicating liquor or dangerous drug to a child.—Whoever gives, or causes to be given, to any child any intoxicating liquor in a public place or any dangerous drug, except upon the order of a duly qualified medical practitioner or in case of sickness or other urgent cause, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees.
