SIer title, extent and mmmenrsmenI.—(l) This Act may be called the Keiala Cattle Trespass Act, 1961. (2) (a) It extends to the whole ofthe State ofKerala; (b) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, exclude any area from the operation of this Act from such date as may be specified therein. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint.
