Advance for treatment ojiliness.- (I) A member may be allowed non-refund- able advance from his account in the fund not exceeding Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundered Only) at a time for- hospitalisation lasting for one month or more or for operation in a hos pital. - treatment of T.B., leprosy, paralysis, cancer or asthma and having been granted leave by his employer for treatment of the said illness. (2) The advance shall be granted only if a medical certificate in proof of the treatment is produced by the applicant.
