Meetings of the Senate: (1) The Senate shall meet at least once in four months on dates to be fixed by the Vice- Chancellor, and one of such meetings shall be called the annual meeting (2) One-fifth of the total number of members of the Senate shall be the quorum for a meeting of the Senate; Provided that such quorum shall not be required for a convocation of the University ora meeting of the Senate held for the purpose of conferring degrees, titles, diplomas or other distinctions. Act 27 (3) The Vice-Chancellor may, whenever he thinks fit and shall, within thirty days of the receipt of a requisition in writing signed by not less than one-fourth of the total number of members of the Senate, convene a special meeting of the Senate. (4) whena special meeting is convened on requisition no subject other than that shown in the requisition shall be considered at the meeting.
