Experts and other officers of the Authority.—(1) The functions of the Authority shall be discharged through the officers of the Animal Husbandry Department in the State. If more officers and employees are required for the effective discharge of functions of the Authority, it may appoint them on contract / deputation basis in consultation with the Government. (2) Authority shall prepare a consultative panel of experts not exceeding nine members. Authority shall constitute Committee / Committees, not exceeding three members from among the panel of experts for the discharge of functions which is required by the Authority. (3) The Members of the Committee constituted under sub-section (2) and the nominated members of the Authority shall be eligible for honorarium, travelling allowance and daily allowance as prescribed.
