Functions of Local Authorities.—The Local Authorities concerned shall render assistance, co-operation and information, as and when required, for the discharge of the functions of the Authority and shall furnish such records and documents for detailed inspection. Explanation.—For the purpose of this Act, “Local Authorities” shall mean, Animal Husbandry Officer in each District or other officers authorised by him, Manager (Livestock Production) in the Kerala Livestock Development Board or other officers authorised by him.
