Payment of arrears.—Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, any arrears of Arthapalisa, Jenmibhogam or Karathilchilavu due to a Jenmi, immediately before the appointed day and remaining unpaid after that day, shall be paid to the Jenmi in the same manner as before the commencement of this Act.
