(1) The Kerala Agricultural University Ordinance, 1971 (16 of 1971), is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act. (3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2) any provisional authority or body constituted by the Vice-Chancellor before the date of publication of this Act in the Gazette shall with effect from the date of nomination of the first set of authorities of the University under section 61, cease to exist.
