Institution of prosecutions or other legal proceedings under the Act.- ( 1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any officer for anythmg done under thrs Act in good faith or for any damage to ·property caused by any action taken in good farth in carrying out the provisions of this Act. (2) No prosecution under thrs Act shall be commenced without the prevwus sanction of the Collector. (3) No prosecution u~der !his Act shall be commenced after six months from the date of the alleged offence.
