Filling up of casual vacancies.- When any vacancy occurs in the office of any member (other than an ex-officio member) of any authority of the university before the expiry of the term of the office of such member, the vacancy shall be filled up as soon as conveniently may be, after the occurrence of the vacancy. 1[48A. Dissolution or winding up of the university.- In the event of dissolution or winding up of the University, the assets remaining as on the date of dissolution shall under no circumstances be distributed among the members of the Executive Council or Finance Committee, but the same shall be transferred to another University whose objects are similar to that of this University.]1
