The Pro-Chancellor.- (1) The Minister who is in charge of Higher Education in Karnataka shall by virtue of his office be the Pro-Chancellor of the University. (2) The Pro-Chancellor shall exercise such powers and functions of the Chancellor that may be conferred upon him under the Statutes.
