Objects of the University.- The University shall have the following objects, 7 namely:- (a) to make provision for imparting education in different branches of veterinary, animal and fishery sciences as the University may determine; (b) to further the advancement of learning and prosecution of research in veterinary, animal and fishery sciences and other allied sciences; (c) to undertake extension of such specialized knowledge to the needy people; and (d) such other object as the State Government may, by notification specify from time to time.
