Officers deemed to be Public Servants.- Every Officer acting under or in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or under a rule, order or notification made thereunder, shall be deemed to be a public servant within this meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act XLV of 1860).
