Delegation of powers STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS I Amending Act 10 of 2015.- It is considered necessary to provide for,- (1) facilitation, regulation and promotion of tourism trade in the State; (2) constitution of the State Tourism Council; (3) registration, recognition and grading of tourism trade in the tourist destinations; (4) licensing of tour guides; (5) appointment of tourist mitra to ensure safety of the tourists; (6) prohibition of certain activities in tourist destinations; (7) protection and maintenance of tourist destinations; (8) collection of statistical information from service providers and establishment of database on tourism; and (9) other matter connected therewith or incidental thereto.
