Sponsored Schemes.- Whenever the University receives funds from any Government, the University Grants Commission or other agencies sponsoring a scheme to be executed by the University, notwithstanding anything in this Act and Regulations,- (a) the amount received shall be kept by the University separately from the University Fund and utilized only for the purpose of the scheme; and Provided that, wherever such fund is received from other private agencies, it shall be subject to the approval of the Government. (b) if required, the staff required to execute the scheme or research project shall be recruited in accordance with the terms and conditions stipulated in the Act or in the regulations made thereunder.
